Americans for the Arts Artist’s Survey to Evaluate the Pandemic’s Impact
As an artist and creative worker, you are essential to the ongoing care and eventual recovery of our country. We’re inviting you to take this survey to share your experiences during this time of loss and uncertainty.
This survey is designed to assess the creative and social, as well as financial and professional, impact of COVID-19 on artists and creative workers across disciplines and all over the country. You will be asked to document personal impacts about a variety of life events such as mental and physical health issues, eviction, financial trouble, and familial stress and strain both prior to COVID-19’s arrival and now.
Grants for Artists, BIPOC Small Business Grants, and Women’s Small Business Grants
Three separate grants for three separate groups, offered by Jovan Johnson Bio/ LinkedIn with AnnuityFreedom.net. Applicants may apply to all categories for which they are eligible. All are a combination of marketing + micro-grant. While there is not currently a cap on the number of monthly marketing grantees, there is currently (1) $100 micro-grant each month per program. Marketing assistance will continue indefinitely. No fees are required of applicants.
Arts and Culture Leaders of Color Emergency Fund
This fund, for US-based BIPOC artists and administrators, has been paused. Additional information will be provided in 2022, following the organization's Strategic Planning period.
Providing help to ATL artists in crisis. With the rise of Covid-19, our Atlanta arts community is facing an existential threat. We are here to help. No shame, no stigma. Just artists helping artists, in whatever way we possibly can. From connecting you with licensed therapists to walking you through the intricacies of applying for and receiving Unemployment Benefits, Atlanta Artist Relief Fund is dedicated to assisting our community in times of crisis and beyond.
Burnaway Resources for Artists During COVID-19
During this time of unprecedented uncertainty and pubic concern, Burnaway has compiled a list of useful resources for artists and their supporters. The list will be updated as new opportunities or resources become available.
Covid-19 Freelance Artist Resources
What this list IS: an aggregated list of FREE resources, opportunities, and financial relief options available to artists of all disciplines.
What this list IS NOT: a place to promote individual artist practices (we love you, but we’re not equipped for that); a place to promote fee for service work; or a place to seek direct emergency funding.
Creative Capital Arts Resources During COVID-19 Outbreak
Each month, we compile a list of residencies, grants, and open calls for artists working in all disciplines. The September 2021 list includes a $50,000 grant for organizations that use arts and culture-based practices to aid projects that intersect climate and racial justice work, an Alaska residency for women writers, and a $20,000 fellowship for artists to support craft practices.
Foundation for Contemporary Arts
Created in 1993 to further FCA's mission to encourage, sponsor, and promote work of a contemporary, experimental nature, Emergency Grants provide urgent funding for visual and performing artists who:
Have sudden, unanticipated opportunities to present their work to the public when there is insufficient time to seek other sources of funding
Incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates
Emergency Grants is the only active, multi-disciplinary program that offers immediate assistance of this kind to artists living and working anywhere in the United States, for projects occurring in the U.S. and abroad.

Georgia Lawyers for the Arts (GLA)
GLA provides free legal assistance to artists who would not otherwise be able to afford legal representation on a wide variety of arts-related issues. Nonprofit arts organizations with budgets under $1,000,000 are also eligible for pro-bono assistance.
Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant Program
The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant program is intended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Each grant is given as one-time assistance for a specific emergency, examples of which are fire, flood, or emergency medical needs.
Greater Atlanta COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund
A partnership of The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and United Way of Greater Atlanta, supporting organizations and individuals in need. Because CFGA realizes that arts organizations and artists are being dramatically impacted by COVID-19, they are dedicating the Metro Atlanta Arts Fund and the A Place to Perform Fund to the COVID-19 relief efforts for the arts community.
Community foundations throughout Georgia are also setting up response and recovery funds:
The North Georgia Community Foundation is setting up the Coronavirus Relief Fund.
The Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area launched a CSRA COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.
The Community Foundation of South Georgia launched a COVID-19 Relief Fund
The Community Foundation of Central Georgia has set up the Central Georgia COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund.
The Athens Area Community Foundation launched a COVID-19 Community Response Fund.
