Rowe Exhibition . Educational Outreach Programs

The High Museum excels at educational outreach and the attention they’ve given to Really Free: The Radical Art of Nellie Mae Rowe is no exception. The events are inclusive of every audience they serve. Public Talks and lectures are often available online and accessible by anyone, anywhere. Second Sundays, for adults, children and their parents, Conversation Pieces, for young professionals and adults, Toddler Thursdays, for the youngest art lovers and their caregivers, and Teen Art Afternoons, self-explanatory, all feature Nellie Mae Rowe this fall. At an event for the Creative Aging Program, Rowe’s great-grand niece Cathi Perry was a special guest, and regaled the group with stories and memories of her Aunt Nellie. JAF was delighted to make a grant to the High in support of the educational outreach programs related to the Nellie Mae Rowe exhibition.
