Originating in 2021 at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Really Free: The Radical Art of Nellie Mae Rowe traveled to The Brooklyn Museum in the fall of 2022 for an expanded exhibition to which The Judith Alexander Foundation loaned 10 works from its collection by Nellie Mae Rowe.
